The relevant personnel will examine your request and reply within 48 hours (not including weekends).


Accessibility – general

Visitors in wheelchairs
1) The Center’s premises are on a flat plane
2) The workshop room is accessible via an elevator
3) The Theater: Row 1 is accessible to wheelchairs
4) The Blackout Restaurant: Visitors may enter in manual wheelchairs. Electric wheelchairs are permitted only if they can be switched off and have no devices that emit or reflect light. If needed, we can provide manual wheelchairs following notice at least 48 hours prior to the visit.

Deaf and hearing-impaired visitors

Theater:
1) Not by Bread Alone – The show is performed in Sign Language. Personal amplifiers and FM headphones are available.
2) Deaf Talk – The show is performed in Sign Language. Personal amplifiers and FM headphones are available.
3) Say ‘Orange’ – The show is performed in Sign Language and accompanied by subtitles. Personal amplifiers and FM headphones are available.
4) Children of a Lesser God – Most of the show includes Sign Language and the entire show is accompanied by subtitles. Personal amplifiers and FM headphones are available.
5) When the Apple Falls – Some parts of the show include Sign Language, and the entire show is accompanied by subtitles. Personal amplifiers and FM headphones are available.

Kapish Events:
All services are provided by deaf/hearing-impaired personnel who communicate in Sign Language.

Workshops (in the Workshop Room):
A Sign Language translator is present at all workshops.

Blackout Restaurant:
The Blackout Restaurant is completely dark. Visitors may be accompanied by a translator.

Blind and visually impaired visitors

Theater:
Image descriptions are available for the following shows: Not by Bread Alone, Say ‘Orange’, When the Apple Falls, and Children of a Lesser God. The number of headsets is limited.

Kapish Events:
Navigation stripes on the floors help visually impaired individuals find their way. When needed, the staff is also ready to assist.

Workshops:
All workshops, whether conducted in darkness or in the light, are made accessible through speech.

Blackout Restaurant:
A waiter leads guests into the restaurant. Braille menus are available, and a supervisor is always there to help.
